12 July 2009 Testimonial by Scott, Donna & Josh Travelling to Turkey was a last minute decision and we decided to stay at GOLDCITY (5* Resort) as we got a good deal through EnjoyHolidaysTurkey.co.uk.
After a late flight and transfer we arrived in GOLDCITY at 4am (half asleep!) and were met by Monty and Maria from Enjoyholidaysturkey.co.uk to get the keys to our 2 bedroom penthouse villa. They had provided some essentials in the fridge but sleep was on our minds that evening. The next morning, WOW! What a view, what surroundings of both the sea and the mountains, we were definitely on holiday! The villa was immaculate and very spacious for the 3 of us and watching the sunset from one of the terraces never got boring! On day 1 we met up with Monty and Maria to give us the tour of GOLDCITY. I cannot stress the number of facilities that the place has, and it is all done to the highest standard as you would expect from 5-star accommodation; pools inc. Olympic size pool, gym, supermarket, free return bus to beach (10 mins) and Alanya (20 mins, busy historical town), numerous bars and restaurants, bowling, gaming area, free wireless and a nightclub with decor that surpasses any club in London I have been to, plus a long list of other things. The other thing was that we had most of these facilities almost to ourselves. It was relatively quiet there considering the size of the place although it was not an issue for us as we had come for a relaxing holiday and it was getting busier (and hotter) as then holiday went on. Fortunately we had Monty and Maria to point us in the right direction and found ourselves water rafting (great fun), jet bikes, belly dancing, having a Turkish bath and generally getting to know the area better. We recommend having lunch at Dimcay on the river (literally) where after lunch you can dive in! If you can get a good deal like we did to GOLDCITY you will easily be impressed with what you get for your money. |

We had a lovely time in Gold City. The facilities were amazing - from the trampolines (Enya's favourite) to kids club to restaurants, sauna's swimming pools and slides (Niamh's favourite) Irish Pub (Niall's favourite) and location. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The views from the balcony were breath taking. It was good having a washing machine been able to keep on top of the laundry. All the staff who we met in the resort was very friendly and helpful And finally thank you for the way you both looked after us. Taking us around the resort on the first day and all the other running around that you did for us. You made the holiday very special. We stayed in one of the many very well equipped apartments, but with ALL the facilities of a 5* hotel & spa at our disposal. The pools (indoor & outdoor) were fantastic and free access to the gym, sauna's, stream rooms & Turkish Baths were the best bits for me. The complex restaurants were quite good both in quality and value, although it was really good to revert back to our self catering home comforts to break up the continuity of the food. The free shuttle bus service to the beach & to Alanya town were invaluable as the complex is out of the way (taxi's are quite expensive there!!!). We booked through Monty & Maria. What a lovely couple. They went out of their way to welcome us and were extremely helpful from the moment we arrived to the time we left. 3 Oct 2009 – Trip Advisor Top class hotel, lovely villas in which we stayed. Probably the best hotel in Turkey, safe and very clean complex, 24 hour security. The only things that were disappointing was having to pay for all the sport and leisure facilities apart from the pools. Highly recommend car hire as you are pretty isolated, there is a free bus service but you will be limited so get a car. Julie & Gerry Glasgow |

We have just climatized back to British weather conditions and our routine school runs etc are in full swing. just to let you know that I have wriiten a review on trip advisor (should appear within 48hrs). All the best Mehmet Serif Seniz and Adem. 14 Sep 2009 – Trip Advisor Goldcity is a lovely complex, beautiful location, hills surround you. We booked a villa rather than an apartment with its own swimming pool. All facilities at the hotel were at our disposal whenever we wanted just like an all inclusive but without the food be it supermarket or restaurant. I booked with EnjoyHolidaysTurkey.co.uk. This is run by a lovely couple Monty and Maria who bend over backwards to make your stay as good as can be. On arrival they greeted us, had food available for the first day as a starter pack and when ready took just for a guided tour around the resort/complex so that we knew all there was to know. They arrange tours if required or let you get on with it. The villa we stayed at was lovely to say the least. Marble floors and well furnished with essential air con. To get to the hotel you would phone from your villa to get a car sent to you to and take you up- 24hr service. The drivers were all friendly. A regular bus would take you to the beach from the hotel to a private beach which ran every half an hour. The beach unfortunately was too rough and not suitable for young children but the swimming pools at the hotel and villa were great! The hotel has many facilities available for free including jacuzzi and cinema. It is a 5 star complex. I would say though that the supermarket at the hotel did not stock everything and could of been better but it sufficed for our two week stay. If you are looking for a relaxing break in luxury this is ideal but book with EnjoyHolidaysTurkey.co.uk because you pay far less than the normal rate, you get the personal service and they genuinely care for their clients well being and enjoyment. We have recently returned from a 3 week trip to Goldcity and we wish
we could have stayed longer. We booked with Monty and Maria
(enjoyholidaysturkey.co.uk) not only did we get the best deal
available (private villa with pool) we got the best service
available.
The resort has everything for the family, while I
relaxed by our private pool the kids were safe playing in the hotel
aqua park, which was supervised and had entertainment on all day to
keep them happy. Unlike many other resorts the kids were comfortable
integrating with kids from other countries.
This hotel/villa
complex is huge and would benefit from some more holiday makers
hopefully people will read the reviews and get booking. Our visit was
complimented by the efforts of Monty and Maria who were on hand to
help with anything from letting me into the villa at 3am to providing
some movies and booking trips. Their attention to detail and to their
clients is a credit to them and it made my holiday one that I want to
repeat.
Now no-where is utopia all of the time and if I had to
moan about anything it was the transportation in the resort. As this
resort is so big and the villas wind up the mountain to the hotel you
are given FREE transport any time any where in the resort. The
drivers were very pleasant and keen to get to you ASAP but for what
ever reason management only had 1 vehicle to service the guests so
there were times when you had to wait for the car. We figured this
out quite quickly and managed to time getting ready and the car
arriving.
This holiday will
only be enhanced by the opening of Alanya airport only 20mins from
the resport.
